Hillsboro is two cities in one piping sense: the older grid near downtown, with mid-century homes and original supply, and the planned communities like Orenco Station, Tanasbourne, and AmberGlen built mostly from the 1990s onward as the tech corridor expanded. The City of Hillsboro Water Department draws supply through the Joint Water Commission, which is why the water profile feels closer to the rest of the Westside than to Portland's Bull Run system. We stock parts for both eras — older brass and copper fittings, newer PEX manifold and dielectric unions. One thing to be straight about on timing: Hillsboro is the longest drive of the western suburbs from our SE Franklin shop — typically 35–45 minutes depending on traffic — so calling in the morning is the most reliable path to a same-day slot here.
